Peek-a-boo! It's Salsa time!
Pretty Boy Sunny
I think this is Blush. It is definitely one of the girls.
This is Blush with the new favorite thing - the block!
Sailor (and the block, again)
Here we have one of the boys on the block - and one of the girls in the block.
I think that is Tiger on top of Sprite. It just looks like he is sitting on her head!
Tiger strikes a pose.
This is Sailor wondering why he is on one side of the x-pen and I am on the other.
Sailor with the "Sunny" toy. Killing it is lots of fun but it sure spreads the pine shavings around!
One of the boys but can't tell collar color - they are getting too hairy!
An ambush from within the block.
I think that is Salsa inside the block, Blush outside and Sailor on top.
A very serious look for a pretty pup.
A close-up of Blush (I think).
Right after I snapped this the pup in the block bit the hanging tail - of course!
Right after I snapped this the hind feet slipped and this pup took a tumble.
I think this is Sunny.
Tiger is chewing on the concrete block.
The sound is somewhat like fingernails on a chalkboard, but they don't seem to mind a bit!
Getting off the duct tape is part of the problem solving.
"Which way did she go"
Sailor just before he threw his head back and gave a howl!
"Please can I come out?" The expression on the pup behind cracks me up.
Planning a "jail break"
"I'm going somewhere. Just watch me go!"
"Wait, momma, come back!" This is what I see every time Shelby leaves the box.
Someone is planning an ambush - from the shelter of momma!
Pups are almost 4 weeks old now. See how big!
Pups are just a few days old here and everyone grouped around Shelby's head while they all got a quick nap. Such a sweet scene! Little boy Tiger is the only pup missing - he was back at the bar getting a drink! Of course as soon as the shutter went off, Shelby moved, the pups awoke, crying started as they realized that they were awake and not eating! Sorry to shatter the peaceful moment. Poor Shelby just gave me a look!
Shelby nearly always has a pup between her front legs - she is so careful not to squash them! Pardon the "demon" eyes and I think she caught her lip, too - bless her heart - have babies and her body goes to pot!
They are squirming around in this picture - but it shows some of all of them!
Little Sailor boy!
I call this their puppy pile. If momma Shelby isn't in with them they all pile on top of each other.
The prime position is the bottom of the pile - warmest I guess - so it is a constantly rotating affair accompanied by little grunts and squeeks.
Once Shelby comes back inside - they all line up for the buffet like little piglets.
